10 Service Dogs Awarded, 10 Lives Changed!
Changing Lives Across the Northeast... FAIRWAY and the American Warrior Initiative!
What a whirlwind of a week it's been! We just wrapped up an incredible three-day journey across three states – a true "Nor'easter" of positive impact that left us feeling deeply inspired. From Connecticut to New Hampshire and finally Massachusetts, lives were profoundly touched, and in some cases, even saved, through the incredible gift of a service dog. We witnessed firsthand how these amazing animals are not just companions, but vital partners offering unwavering support and renewed purpose to their handlers.
Our journey began on Tuesday in Hartford, Connecticut, where we proudly funded two life-changing service dogs for veterans. The gratitude in the room was palpable, a powerful reminder of the sacrifices these heroes have made.
The following day took us to Bedford, New Hampshire, where the generosity continued. We were honored to fund three more service dogs, each one representing a beacon of hope and independence for its future owner. It was truly moving to see the anticipation and excitement of the attendees.
The grand finale of our "Nor'easter" unfolded yesterday at the iconic Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, home of the New England Patriots. In partnership with Dog Training Elite Boston, we had the distinct privilege of funding FIVE more service dogs. Two deserving veterans were present to receive their new companions, while three additional veterans on the waitlist also had their lives transformed. Adding to the emotional atmosphere was a breathtaking performance of the National Anthem by the incredibly talented 11-year-old Angelo Gray – his voice truly blew everyone away!
So, what's the grand total of service dogs funded this week? An astounding TEN! That's right, ten lives forever changed in just three days.
And now for the truly remarkable milestone (drumroll, please!): this incredible week brings the total number of service dogs funded over the past nine years by the #FairwayNation and AWI to a staggering 400 dogs in 9 years! The 400th dog, a wonderful companion named Quill, was presented to a very deserving veteran, marking a truly momentous occasion.

Your giving hearts are the driving force behind these life-changing partnerships.
As I've said before, and I'll say it again: none of us can do everything, but all of us can DO ONE THING. And together, those "one things" are creating a powerful wave of positive change in the lives of our veterans through the gift of service dogs.
